Yak-130
|
Two-seat jet trainer with ground attack capability developed by Yakovlev Design Bureau in cooperation with Aeromacchi. The key concept was to make aircraft as cost effective as possible. Aircraft complies with requirements to entry level primary training, as well as basic, advanced and special courses. As a result graduates are ready to fly aircraft like Su-27. Operation at incidence angle up tp 35œ, maneuvers up to 5g, turn radius as small as 200m makes Yak-130 unique among trainers. Traditional for Yakovlev aircraft easy is enhanced by auxiliary power unit and automated on-board diagnostics/monitoring system. And of course, Yak-130 may be used from unpaved airfields. Up to 28% of the airframe is made of carbon fiber reinforced plastics. The engines are modification of the Progress (Zaporozhie, Ukraina) DV-2, modified by Klimov Engine Design Bureau. Experience of Italian counterpart in production, sale and worldwide support of trainer aircraft should help to gain turf on international aircraft market. |
