Ka-37
Ka-37 remotely piloted helicopter of a modulus design features automatic programmable flight, high maneuverability, and transportation mobility.
Ka-37 helicopter has a universal powerplant and detachable equipment packages for varies missions: aerial photography, translation and retranslating of TV and radio signals, ecological surveys, delivery of medicines, food stuffs, mail, emergency aid at accidents and catastrophes in inaccessible and dangerous spots.
The main rotor system is of a co-axial type, which permitted to develop a compact helicopter with minimal overall dimensions, having excellent maneuverability and sufficient load ratio. The automatic control system installed on the helicopter provides for programm’s cleared track flight with limited operator intervention. If necessary the operator may intervene into the helicopter control process by generating corresponding radio commands from a ground remote control station. The ground station is equipped with controls, a data system and an independent power source.
The helicopter and a control station are transported together in a special transportation container.
